The Nordic Health Summit Japan 2022 kicks off with a Program Day which takes place physically at the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo, and can also be followed online through the links in the program below (Zoom registration). 

Participation at the venue is limited to invitation only.

Welcome remarks by is Deputy Head of Mission/Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden, Ms. Lena von Sydow


Deputy Head of Mission Lena von Sydow
Ms Lena von Sydow is Deputy Head of Mission/Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo since September 2019. Prior to that, she was heading the political section at the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing. She has also served at the Swedish Embassies in London and Jakarta, and at the Swedish Delegation to the OSCE in Vienna. She has held various positions at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm, including at the Department for Asia and the Pacific.

Peter Wolpert - CEO, Industrifonden
Peter has a passionate interest for developing innovative ventures to globally successful companies within Life Science and Tech.
Peter joined Industrifonden in 2022 as CEO, after 25 years of business development as a CEO, founder, in board roles and as an advisor. He was CEO/Founder of Moberg Pharma which commercial operations in 2019 were acquired by US Private Equity firms Roundtable Healthcare and Signet Healthcare, after rapid organic and M&A-driven growth.

Japanese experience of healthcare investing in and collaboration with the Nordics


Mr. Takashi Moriguchi, Global Brain Corporation
Prior to joining GB, Takashi worked for Kao and Deloitte consulting. He started his career as a biological researcher and was engaged in dermatology research in partnership with academic institutions. At Deloitte Consulting, he led a project to develop and implement a strategic plan for life science and healthcare companies.

Innovation Partnerships & i2.JP Director
After working for a foreign medical device company in R&D, a domestic think tank/consulting firm, a foreign life insurance company, and a start-up, joined AZKK in January 2020.
In charge of open innovation promotion and leading the launching of i2.JP, an open innovation network, in November 2020. Planning and promoting collaborative projects in i2.JP community involving public, private, academic partners and start-ups with the aim to achieve patient-centricity.

Osaka Innovation Hub Project Leader
Megumi Ishitobi is in charge of Global Events for OIH, connecting startups with corporations and investors through the events and projects.
